Terms of use
These terms apply to Service Engineer Academy (the "Academy"), operated by Service Engineer Ltd, a company registered in the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), Kazakhstan. Contact: ceo@serviceengineer.app.
What you buy. A course is a digital product: online access to lessons, figures, checklists, quizzes and an online exam. On passing the exam you receive a certificate of completion. Card payments: our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our card orders; Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders, issues your receipt and handles sales tax or VAT. Companies may also pay by bank invoice issued directly by Service Engineer Ltd.
Access. Access is personal to the buyer. Team purchases give access to the number of engineers stated at purchase. Do not share login details or course materials outside your team.
Nature of the training. The Academy provides independent, vendor-neutral training. It does not replace the manufacturer's documentation, procedures or training, does not grant manufacturer authorisation, and does not give access to service software. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions, applicable standards and local regulations. You are responsible for working only within your competence and authorisation.
Certificates. A certificate confirms that the named person completed the course and passed its exam. It is not a licence, a manufacturer authorisation or a state qualification document. Certificate details (name, course, score, date, number) are published on a public verification page.
Content. All lessons, figures and texts are the property of Service Engineer Ltd. Brand and model names are used only to identify equipment; the Academy is not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer.
Liability. Course content is prepared with care and reviewed by engineers, but it is provided for training purposes. To the extent permitted by law, Service Engineer Ltd is not liable for damage arising from the use of the materials in place of the manufacturer's documentation or outside the user's competence.
Changes. We may update courses and these terms; the version on this page applies.
