How to connect
Claude (web and desktop)
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the server address, press Connect and sign in with your SE AI e-mail.
ChatGPT
Settings → Apps & Connectors → create a connector (developer mode). Paste the server address, authentication OAuth.
Claude Code
In a terminal: claude mcp add --transport http se-ai https://api.serviceengineer.academy/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.
Other apps
Any MCP client with Streamable HTTP and OAuth 2.1. If an app cannot do OAuth, make a personal key in SE AI: menu → Connect to Claude / ChatGPT.
What it can do
ask_se_ai — Fault troubleshooting: likely cause, checks in order, parts, and the sources (manufacturer manual, a repair confirmed by an engineer, a colleague's report). Counts toward your SE AI question limit.
search_parts — Spare parts by part number, or by part name and model: 168,000 lines from manufacturers' parts lists, about 1,300 machines. Free.
list_cases — Your SE AI cases: status, suspected cause, drafts. You approve work order and report drafts yourself in the app.
Price
A new account gets 3 free questions. Parts search is always free. After that, the SE AI subscription, which also works in connected assistants.
SE AI helps engineers repair equipment. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose patients. Follow the manufacturer's service documentation for high-voltage, gas and radiation work.
