A model course for engineers who have passed Anaesthesia Workstation Service — Level 1. It takes the Aeon 7200A apart on paper: pipeline and cylinder inputs, the pneumatic O2 failure warning and N2O cut-off, the flowmeter bank with its O2-N2O link, the vaporiser manifold, the circle and absorber, the bellows and the O2-driven ventilator with its sensors, boards and battery. Then the engineer's checkout with your own instruments against the manufacturer's values, the maintenance schedule and its gaps, fault-finding from alarm group and test point to a proven part, and a complete return to service with electrical safety and a record. - The Aeon 7200A has no automated leak and compliance test: supply, protections, flowmeters and the circle say nothing unless an engineer measures them.
- Calls end with a flow sensor or a board replaced while the real cause was a wet sampling tube, a leaking circle, a low O2 supply driving the ventilator, a mismatched probe or an option that was never bought.
- After a repair the O2 failure warning, the N2O cut-off and the ratio are not tested, calibrations are done on a leaking machine, and leakage is not measured with the equipment plugged into the auxiliary outlets.

No. It is an independent course, not affiliated with or endorsed by Beijing Aeonmed Co., Ltd. Aeonmed and Aeon are trademarks of their owner, and other names are trademarks of their respective owners. The course does not replace the manufacturer's procedures and does not grant authorisation, passwords or access to service software.
Do I need the service manual?
You should have the manufacturer's service manual and the User Manual for the machine you work on. The course explains and orders the work; the exact procedures, acceptance values and part codes come from the documentation for your revision. Several user-level procedures, such as the pre-use check and the O2 cell calibration, are only in the User Manual.
Does it cover the Aeon 7200 without the A?
The source documentation is for the Aeon 7200A. Much of the method applies to machines badged Aeon 7200, but configurations, options and revisions differ; confirm against the documentation for your serial number.
Does it cover the vaporiser?
It covers the manifold, mount seals, interlock and output checks with an analyser. Vaporiser repair belongs to the manufacturer or an approved workshop.
Does it cover software, the PC service tool and options?
Only at procedure level: who may do it, what to record before and what to check after. The steps themselves are the manufacturer's and are done by authorised personnel with the proper tools and media.
