Patient safety: applied parts, defibrillation protection and leakage

Explain why a monitor's patient connections are isolated, recognise BF, CF and defibrillation-proof markings, and make conservative decisions about damaged cables, cleaning, batteries and testing so that service never reduces patient protection.
